Had the soft shell sandwich platter with cucumber/tomato salad and coleslaw. The crab was flavorful and light. The coleslaw was good and the salad tasted fresh.

The owner and staff were so friendly and the vibe of the dining was comfortable. The view from the deck was great though because of a storm we ate inside.

Delicious, beyond fresh, and high quality! I think they some of the best fried oysters around. Came around 4th of July and they were large, plump, mild and slightly sweet/milky in flavor, and very low in whatever you call the contents of the oyster’s stomach. They were frickin delicious and I totally should have got more. The sides were great. Fries were piping hot, as was the corn. I liked that they cooked the corn to order, so it was also piping hot and fresh. Absolutely no complaints.

Beyond Outstanding! Captain Mac’s Fish House in Fenwick Island blew me away! From the moment we arrived, everything was incredibly organized and efficient. The service was fast and friendly, and the food—wow! No table service, which adds to the efficiency. Can order fresh seafood and everything to go! The fries were hands-down the best I’ve ever had, crispy and perfectly seasoned.

We had lunch out on the back covered deck, which was a great spot—relaxing, breezy, and with plenty of shade. The portions were generous, and everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. You can tell they take pride in every dish they serve.

I will absolutely be coming back often. A true hidden gem at the beach!
