On a barrier island between the Atlantic Ocean and Little Assawoman Bay, the park offers guarded ocean swimming in summer, with a bathhouse and snack bar. Surfing and surf fishing are allowed in designated ocean beaches and watercraft rentals are available on the bay. Open daily 8 a.m. to sunset. Parking is easy as well as renting chairs and umbrellas. They have bathrooms and a place where you can purchase some food. Overall, a nice, chill place to spend a day or two.

Love this place, clean and nice environment, best of all is a pet friendly, the restrooms are really clean well maintained, only thing I will suggest to be careful with your trash because there are not trash cans near by

Serene and absolutely beautiful! This park is a hidden gem with easy beach access and plenty of parking. When it comes to safety, the ocean patrol is second to none—there are always plenty of lifeguards on duty to ensure everyone can enjoy with peace of mind. As an added bonus, the park is also wheelchair-friendly!
