We were greeted by the owner/operator, a charming gentleman, who gave us a tour of his quaint restaurant inside the old bank vault. There are lovely plaques that give you the history of his family, and how the delicious menu came to be. We enjoyed an amazing lunch there, and had their signature entree as dessert. It was a super rainy dreary day, and we happened upon this delightful restaurant. It was the highlight of our day!!

I've driven past several times and always wanted to stop in. Today was the day.
The charm of the restaurant you would think you're in a little French bistro. The food was amazing. I did have to ask about a few items and our server was extremely helpful. The music softly playing, the delightful smells, and the Wonderful owner made our experience memorable. We will definitely stroll through the doors again.

I HIGHLY recommend Kaisy's Delights!

About 3 or 4 years ago, I went to their old location on the beach, and it was phenomenal. I got an iced coffee and their kaiserschmarrn (the sweetie with strawberry compote and fresh whipped cream), and have been dreaming of that delicious combo ever since. I couldn't think of the name, so I turned to Google for some detective work, and I found it! Kaisy's Delights is the place! I am SO happy I found it! I loved the atmosphere at the old place, but this was somehow even better. Gorgeous wooden floors, fresh linens and flowers on every table, and the kicker? It's in an old bank! There's an old bank vault that they kept as soon as you walk in. I'll tell you a bit more about this later.

We went for breakfast this morning and were greeted by the sweetest server, Julia. We started with a vanilla latte, a chai latte, pierogies, and the same kaiserschmarrn I got years ago. Then we got omelets, and were able to sub latkes instead of their potatoes, and everything was stellar. I do have a minor regret, though - I wish my husband had gotten one side while I got the other side, but we will definitely try the potatoes next time.

As we were about to head out, I recognized from previously the owner who had just come in and asked him what was in the old bank vault because I didn't want to just barge in, even though the door was open. He was so excited to show me! It's a mini museum that serves as a history of himself, his family, and their expansive menu. It's definitely a one-of-a-kind place with such a welcoming and beautiful atmosphere.

I'm wondering what it would take to convince them to deliver their delicious foods to me 2 hours away each day. 🤔😂

I will be back every single time we head to and from the beach, and recommend that you do, too!
