Stingray Sushi Bar + Asian Grill

Solid three star restaurant. I originally sat at thr sushi bar but the cooks were too busy talking to take my order so I went to the main bar to eat. The food is good. I will say the fish had too.much sauce on it and it took away from the dish itself. The salad was great.

We recently dined at this restaurant and had a somewhat mixed experience. The food was undeniably the highlight of my visit, earning a well-deserved 4 out of 5 stars. The dishes we ordered were expertly prepared, and the flavors were spot on. I particularly enjoyed the seasonal vegetables, which were cooked to perfection. The portions were generous, and the presentation was visually appealing.

However, the service was a different story altogether. Unfortunately, our server seemed to be having a bad day, and it reflected in their attitude towards us. They were dismissive, curt, and borderline rude. When we asked for refills on our drinks, it took an inordinate amount of time to arrive, and when we politely pointed out the delay, we were met with a sigh and a hint of annoyance. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, especially when you're paying premium prices for a meal. If I had to rate the service, I'd give it a disappointing 2 stars.

It's a shame, really, because the food is genuinely good, and with a little more effort on the service front, this place could be a real gem. As it stands, I'd recommend it to foodies who can overlook some attitude, but others might want to think twice before making a reservation.

We dined at Stingray for dinner on a Monday night in the off season. It’s a beautiful atmosphere, quiet and the service was outstanding. The special that night was buy one dim sum appetizer and get one free. The main course was small so we were glad we ordered the appetizer special. The dessert was our favorite part of the meal—Citrus Crème Brûlée—so delicious!
