Just stayed for two nights at the Bay resort. The best thing about this place is the staff and the location. Sharieka at the front desk is amazing. She's incredibly helpful and friendly and a pleasure to talk to. The location is perfect .
The problem is the rooms look nothing like the rooms online, you can tell they haven't put money into those rooms in a very long time. The carpet had major stains as well as the chairs. The door on the bathroom was split at the bottom and the hardware was rusty. You can tell they don't put any money into taking care of the rooms. The rooms are equivalent to a cheaper motel on the side of the highway.
Location is good, staff are wonderful the pool is nice, but it's way too expensive for the kind of room you're staying in.
Again Sharieka was wonderful, but unfortunately because of how expensive it was and the rooms condition I would not stay there again. I also had to pay an early check-in fee even though the room was ready, if you could call it ready, lol.
If you want to stay for the location and friendly staff that your hotel and the view is pretty, but if you want updated and clean this is not your place!

Had so much fun! The hotel manager Aryn is an amazing person who can multitask and still make everyone feel like you’re the only one she’s helping, she asks everyone’s name and remember them😃 I was blessed to meet her!! The hotel is very clean and they will accommodate to your needs. The location is perfect for walking to the beach or bars and restaurants! I give 5⭐️s for every thing at the bay resort!! Can’t wait to go back!!

The Bay Resort is an absolute gem! Located right on the bay in the heart of Dewey Beach, this charming three-story hotel offers the perfect mix of comfort, convenience, and coastal beauty. With over 50 rooms—half overlooking the bay and the other half the pool—every room offers a great view from your private balcony.
One of the highlights is the long pier that stretches out into the bay. It’s the perfect spot to watch a stunning sunset or just relax during the day. Delmarva Watersports is also located right on the bayside of the property, which is super convenient if you're looking to add a little adventure to your stay.
The hotel is less than two blocks from the ocean, so beach access is just a short walk away. In fact, everything in Dewey is walkable—restaurants, bars, music venues—you name it! The rooms are spotless, and the beds are incredibly comfortable, perfect after a fun-filled day around town.
Another big plus is the ample on-site parking. Once you park your car, you likely won’t need it again until it’s time to head home. And if you need anything at all, the front desk staff is outstanding—friendly, helpful, and truly dedicated to making your stay perfect.
Highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Dewey Beach. You won’t be disappointed!
